Passion Flower
This is one big sexy flower; it is over 9 ft tall. I spent over a year during covid looking for 14 matching post hole diggers. I was inspired by an old circular hay rake I found about 5 years ago, I knew it would someday be a passion flower.
Other elements: propane tank parts. Brush Hog stump jumper and truck rings for the base, back pipe & caps for the pistils and street sweeper brushes for the stamens. Garage door springs for the stems

Hammer Head Shark
Artist Statement
There is a somewhat famous sculpture of a hammerhead shark made from hundreds of hammer heads. My thought was “where is the challenge in that, try making a hammerhead shark from just two hammerheads”. The hard part was finding two hammerheads that already have hammerhead shark qualities. Made from two hammerheads.

While not directly harmful to humans the Asian Longhorn Beetle bores into hardwood trees to deposit their larvae. They can kill trees.

The body for this sculpture is made from an antique spade, the legs are made from old hedge clippers.
